Jamshedpur 7th Oct 2021: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday inaugurated a newly installed Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen plant and health infrastructure.
Whereas Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta inaugurated 26 PSA oxygen plants built under PM CARES Fund in 19 districts, a day before, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated PSA oxygen plants across the country.
Hemant Soren installed 100 liters per minute PSA Oxygen Plant at Sadar Hospital, Ranchi, and also inaugurated 24×7 Central Pathology Lab, 256 Slice CT Scan Facility, and modern COBAS 6800 machines at RIMS Ranchi.
Incidentally, this was the first Cobas machine installed anywhere in the state.
“We are focused on improving the health infrastructure across Jharkhand as part of our preparedness to deal with future pandemics,” Soren said.
State Health Minister Banna Gupta, who inaugurated online PSA oxygen plants in 19 districts at one place at RIMS Ranchi, said that the government is very serious about the health of the people of the state, and many health-related schemes are being launched in different districts.
Besides this, the Central Pathology Laboratory has been constructed in RIMS so that all facilities related to blood tests can be made available to the public free of cost.
It is worth noting that a blueprint is being prepared for the infrastructure development of MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur.
Singh said that there is a shortage of doctors and medical staff in the state. For this, the state government has relaxed the rules for the recruitment of doctors.
