COVID Cauldron: 692 New Cases Found, And 10 Deaths Reported In Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur 21st April 2021: Corona infection is increasing in the East Singhbhum district.
According to the latest report of the East Singhbhum health department,  692 new corona cases have come on Tuesday, and 10 patients have died.

Of the 692 new cases, 605 are from Jamshedpur urban area including, 92 from Kadma, 81 from Telco, 49 from Sakchi along 43 from Ghatsila, 12 from Chakulia, 5 from Dhalbhumgarh, 4 from Patamda, 2 from Dumaria, and 1 from Baharagora.
However, 10 patients who died in the district on Tuesday include a doctor at the Tata Steel plant, a resident of Burmines, a 52-year-old employee of Tata Steel’s CRM, and an employee of the JN Tata Vocational Training Institute.
So far, eight doctors have died in the city from Corona.

As per the latest health bulletin, the cumulative coronavirus case count stands at 25730, and the death count is now 467.
The new cases came out of the 4008 tests conducted on Tuesday.
At present, the number of active patients in the district is 4745.
The positivity rate rose to 3.64%, and the recovery rate has dropped down to 81.95%, while the mortality rate is 1.82 % in Jamshedpur.
