Jamshedpur 14th April 2021: The second wave of Coronavirus in Jamshedpur is setting new records every day.
According to the latest report, 434 new corona cases have come on Tuesday, and seven people have lost their lives.
With this, the number of infections has increased to 21633.
So far, 19151 people have beaten coronavirus.
Of the 434 new cases, 421 are from Jamshedpur urban area, 4 from Baharagora, 3 from Ghatsila, 5 from Musabani, and one from Potka.
For the first time, 400 positive cases have crossed.
Despite this, 27 people have died in 7 days from Corona in the district.
Seven patients, including a doctor at an MGM Medical College in the city, died on Tuesday. There were two women among them.
The surge has led to an increase in hospitalization.
All beds reserved for corona patients at TMH, the city’s largest hospital, are full, including ICU and CCU beds.
The hospital’s 13 doctors and 20 health workers have also been made Corona positive.
However, TMH management has increased facilities because of the growing transition.
Therefore, the positivity rate rose to 3.22% and the rate of the RT-PCR test has reached 23% in Jamshedpur.
