Jamshedpur Logs 93 New COVID-19 Cases

Jamshedpur 3rd April 2021: Jamshedpur is seeing a fresh wave in daily Covid-19 cases.
93 new cases were reported on Friday, April 2, a day after Jamshedpur saw 71 COVID cases.
Of the 93 new cases, 91 are from Jamshedpur urban area and one each came from Baharagora and Dumaria.
The positive cases have now reached the mark of 19070. So far, 376 deaths have been reported. The active cases are now 475.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 234642 tests per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96.01% while the mortality rate is 1.97 %.
Because of the spike in the Covid cases, the district health department on Friday waved off nine Covid awareness vehicles to as many blocks in the East Singhbhum district.
Covid-19 cases continue to rise very fast in East Singhbhum district, especially in the steel city for the past one week.
