Jamshedpur 23rd Aug, 2020: Jamshedpur has the highest number of deaths due to respiratory diseases like pneumonia, asthma, diarrhea, malaria, dengue, and TB. A total of 18.6% death are reported in the city due to respiratory disease.
Jamshedpur is the first state in the country that is dying the most due to breathing diseases.
Respiratory diseases are the cause of 16.3% of total deaths in Jharkhand.
East Singhbhum district has a figure of 18.6%.
Talking about the country, the death rate due to these diseases is only 9.4% of the total deaths. This is the reason that coronas are killing 2.78 in the district.
According to the Medical Certification of Causes of Death (MCCD) report by the Registrar General of India, Jharkhand accounts for the highest 20.6% of deaths due to infections and parasitic diseases in 2018. 16.3% of deaths are due to respiratory diseases. The third largest cause is heart disease, high blood pressure, 12.7% deaths due to stroke.
