Jamshedpur COVID19: 10 People Dead Including Two Employees Of Tata Steel, 130 New Cases

Jamshedpur 21st Aug, 2020: In Jharkhand, 6 Corona infants died on Thursday, taking the total official death toll of the infected in the state to 286.

On Thursday, 10 people have died in Jamshedpur in which 9 were from Jamshedpur and one was a 69-years-old resident of Adityapur.

So far, a total of 26938 have been infected in the state.

On Thursday, 130 new positives were found in East Singhbhum, 26 in West Singhbhum, 11 in Saraikela, and 156 people returned their home.

A total of 4596 positive, 2251 recoverred, and 144 have died in the district so far.

Two employees of Tata Steel have also lost their lives. A Tata Steel worker who lives in Baridih has died.

A 54-years-old worker working in the hot strip mill was also admitted on 9th August on complaints of difficulty in breathing, cough, and fever. He died on Thursday evening at 5:45 pm.

Corona is believed to be the main reason for the death of both the employees of Tata Steel, because they are said to have no disease from the past.

Four security personnel deployed under the protection of  Lalu Prasad for treatment in RIMS have been found corona infected. Lalu is currently being treated in Keli Bungalow, RIMS. Security personnel outside the bungalow have been found infected.
