Jamshedpur 5th July, 2020:4 COVID-19 patients died altogether in Jharkhand on Saturday. Two patient have died in RIMS, Ranchi and two in TMH, Jamshedpur.
Dr. Brijesh Mishra, the nodal officer of COVID-19 in RIMS said among the two deaths one was an old man from Khunti. He was 59 and the other was a 66 years old lady from Sahibganj.
The man passed due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to RIMS on 19th June,2020 after he complained of breathing issues whereas, the woman was at the end-stage of kidney disease. She was hospitalised last Saturday and died on an early morning Sunday at 4:00 A.M.
The other two death were reported from TMH, Jamshedpur. Among the two patients, one was identified as Dinesh Sharma from Sonari and the other was Chandrika Devi from Sakchi.
Dr. AK Lal from TMH said Dinesh was admitted to the corona ward due to cough and breathing issues. He dies due to Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome(MODS). And Chandrika Devi was admitted on 12th June,2020 after she complained of breathlessness and Nimonia. She tested positive for COVID-19 after death.
Seeing these four cases has raised the concern of the Health Department and administration.
