Jamshedpur Breaks Covid Pandemic Record With 1280 Infections

Jamshedpur 13th Jan 2022: Breaking all records, Jamshedpur reported 1280 new COVID cases and 3 deaths on Wednesday. This is Jamshedpur’s highest single-day spike since the pandemic began in March 2020.

According to the East Singhbhum Health Bulletin, the fresh infections on Wednesday took the total tally to 60168, while the death toll reached 1082 after 3 fresh deaths.

With the positivity rate in Jamshedpur increasing to 2.86%, the positivity rate of the city has gone up to 11.11%.

Sakchi, Telco, Sonari, Kadma, and Mango areas of the city have also emerged as hotspots with the highest caseload.

Let us inform you that there are 6560 active COVID-19 cases in Jamshedpur.

However, the recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 89.20%, while the death rate is 1.80%.
