Jamshedpur 12th Jan 2021: The city recorded 10 mm of rain on Tuesday with a drop in Celsius over most parts of the state, adding to the cold, thanks to the revival of the free flow of the north wind.
Meteorologists said on Tuesday that the strong north wind would return and result in a drop in night temperatures over the next few days.
Minimum temperatures will drop over most parts of Jharkhand in the next 48 hours, said a senior weather officer at IMD’s Patna Meteorological Centre.
He, however, ruled out cold wave conditions when the minimum readings dip five degrees below normal.
Meteorologists at Ranchi Meteorological Center said that winter is at its peak, and there will be fog in the entire Jharkhand for the next 24 hours.
However, there is a possibility of dry weather in Jharkhand after three days. This will result in a further drop in the minimum reading.
