Jharkhand Lockdown: CM Reviews Increase In Covid Cases, Ensure Strict Compliance Of COVID-19 Guidelines At Popular Spots

1st January 2022: Chief Minister Hemant Soren reviewed the status of increasing cases of Covid-19 in the state in a meeting with the Health Department and senior officials in Ranchi.

Expressing concern over the rising cases of corona infection in the last week, the Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure strict compliance with COVID-19 guidelines at waterfalls, parks, picnic spots, and temples, etc, which are popular picnic spots.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to conduct Covid test drives in all crowded places.

Apart from this, it was decided to hold a high-level meeting next week, assessing all aspects of the increasing cases of corona infection.

The Chief Minister has directed to ensure 100% vaccination of adults in the state by January 15.

Despite this, CM Soren has appealed to the people of the state to ensure proper treatment of Covid and avoid organizing parties to be organized in the new year.
