Jamshedpur 14th Sept 2021: While criminals are out in the field day and night, almost gleefully committing theft, crime and snatching, and openly carrying guns and revolvers, the police are trying to spread the net and catch such elements and provide to sleepless citizens who prefer peace that has been a trademark of this steel city.
An immediately untoward incident that comes to mind is that of Baradwari Devnagar resident Vishwanath Agarwal, when four nights back, he was stopped by criminals and divested Rs 4.80 lakh and snatched his scooty while returning home.
Vishwanath Agarwal runs Medical Store and Grocery Store in Baridih. The incident happened on the night of Friday, 10th September.
A delegation of Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) led by the organization’s president Ashok Modi visited the Devnagar residence of Vishwanath Agarwal and inquired about the snatching from the victim.
Later, the PSZMS delegation met the district officials and demanded immediate arrest of the criminals involved in the robbery of businessman and Devnagar resident Vishwanath Agarwal on the night of Friday, September 10.
Umesh Shah, Vice President of Jharkhand Rajya Marwari Sammelan, assured Vishwanath Agarwal of all possible support from the community.
Shah also said that until action is taken against the perpetrators, the people of the community will continue to pressurize the district administration.
State secretary Naresh Modi, District secretary Murarilal Agarwal, Bhalubasa Branch President Pankaj Chhavchharia, were among the PSZMS delegation members who visited Vishwanath Agarwal’s residence at Devnagar in Baradwari and met the district administration officials demanding arrest of the criminals and recovery of cash and scooty at the earliest.
