Jamshedpur 13th Sept 2021: Former Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy believes that the state government should come forward to protect the interests of the closed Incab employees.
Golmuri-based Incab Industries Limited was shut down in the year 2000, and the matter of revival is pending in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
“I talked with the employees. There is uncertainty about whether the company will open or not. There was a consensus that the state government should get the employees their dues. Now I will try to get their rights from the Jharkhand government,” said MLA Saryu Roy.
Incab company has 800 employees, of whom Rs 300 crore is due.
Saryu Roy said that the state government has given 177 acres of land for the company. Even if the company is auctioned, the land will remain with the government.
The government should lease the land or give it to the employees because now the employees are not going to get anything from litigation.
