3 Died In Bus-Car Collision On Chowka-Kandra Road

Jamshedpur 12th Sept 2021: Three people were killed, and one was seriously injured in a road accident near Ghatdulmi valley on Chowka-Kandra road of Chowka police station area.

The accident happened on Saturday morning when a car collided with the bus.

The deceased have been identified as Sameer Ansari of Tiruldih village of Kukdu in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, Reshma Khatoon of Gaurangkocha village of Ichagarh, and Reshma’s husband, Firoz Ansari.

However, the couple’s four-year-old son named Niyaz Ansari has also sustained serious injuries in the incident and has been admitted to TMH Jamshedpur.

According to the information received, a bus going from Chaibasa to Ranchi and a Swift car going from Chowka to Jagannathpur in Ghatdulmi Valley collided head-on.

In this collision, the Swift car blew up, and two people died on the spot.

After the incident, the local villagers reached and pulled out the people trapped in the car.

On receiving the information, Chowka police reached the spot and sent the injured to Chandil Community Health Center for treatment. The police have seized the bus.

Police said that the bus was going towards Ranchi while the car was traveling towards Jaggannathpur when the head-on collision took place.

The bus driver fled from the spot, leaving the vehicle behind. Later the bodies were sent for postmortem.
