Jamshedpur 6th Sept 2021: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various power transmission projects of Jharkhand Urja Sanchar Nigam Limited (JUSNL) on Monday from the new auditorium of Project Bhawan, Ranchi.
Bhagodih sub-station at Garhwa will be inaugurated on this occasion. At the same time, the foundation stone of the grid sub-stations of Bhavnathpur and Chhatarpur will be laid.
The said information was given by the Principal Secretary of, Energy Department, Avinash Kumar.
According to Avinash Kumar, the 132/33 kV grid sub-station of Bhagodih in Garhwa will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. The capacity of this sub-station is 100 MVA (2×50 MVA).
The sub-station has been built at Rs 26.74 Crore, and areas in the district like Makri, Pandariya, Buka, Garda, Saraiya, Arsali, etc., will be benefited from this project.
A Foundation stone of 100 MVA capacity sub-stations will be laid at Bhavnathpur and Chhatarpur.
The Principal Secretary informed that the foundation stone of 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Bhavnathpur/Nagrauntri in Garhwa and 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Chhatarpur in Palamu would be laid by the Chief Minister.
The above two sub-stations have a capacity of 100 MVA (2×50 MVA,) whereas the cost of the sub-station to be built at Bhavnathpur is Rs 38.07 crore.
At the same time, the cost of the sub-station to be built in Chhatarpur is Rs 53.23 crore.
