Administration Reviewed Preparations For Independence Day In Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur 30th July 2021: A high-level district administration meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar to review the preparations for the 15th August Independence Day celebrations in East Singhbhum district, in which it was strengthened to observe the festival following the guidelines of Covid.

The Deputy Commissioner said that all the departments should organize the ceremony following the Covid protocol and make the ceremony a success.

A committee was constituted under East Singhbhum Deputy Development Commissioner consisting of Director DRDA, SDO Dhalbhum, ADC, ADM Law and Order, Nazarat DC, DPRO, District Education Superintendent, SDPO Ghatshila, DSP Traffic, DSP CCR, and Executive Officer Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee.

It was decided to ban the participation of children in all rallies, morning processions, and cultural programs during Independence Day celebrations.

A national flag hoisting ceremony will be organized in government schools in the presence of the school management committee.

The BDOs were directed to inform the political representatives in their respective jurisdictions about the decision taken in the meeting.

It was also decided that the portraits of the great freedom fighters would be decorated and cleaned by the civic authorities and BDOs.

Frontline workers of COVID-19 will be felicitated, schools should be encouraged to organize painting, drawing and other competitions for students through the home, the main function at Gopal ground will be broadcast on the district Facebook page, rehearsals for the parade will be held on August 11 and 12, while the final rehearsals will be held on August 13.

The main site should be prepared by the Special Officer of JNAC with the provision of drinking water.

It was also decided that the surviving freedom fighters would be honored at their homes by the administrative authorities.
