War Against COVID: Jharkhand Government Shuts Schools, Colleges, And Cancels All Exams

Jamshedpur 19th April 2021: Jharkhand Government on Sunday ordered for the closure of schools, colleges, coaching institutions, training centers, ITIs, and Anganwadi Kendras with immediate effect to break the chain of the coronavirus in the state.
Apart from this, all kinds of entrance exams in the state have been canceled.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that till further orders, entrance exams at any level including, those at school, college, entrance, or institutional exams, have been canceled.
The Chief Minister said that in marriages, only 50 people will be allowed, which was earlier 200.
Soren said that after one month to hold a review of the situation and take further decisions.
Adding further, he said that the people are already aware of the present situation of Covid-19 in the state and are feeling the situation in their localities and surroundings.
“The government is making all possible efforts to provide better healthcare facilities to the people despite its limited resources,” he further included.
Soren said that efforts are on to increase the oxygen-supported beds.
Mr. Soren said that there was no decline in the pace of the spread of the infection but how long it will continue is difficult to say.
The Chief Minister has urged the people not to take Covid-19 lightly as old, children, and people from all sections.
He urged the youth especially not to come out of their homes unnecessarily.
He urged the people to remain safe and keep their families safe and whenever they come out of their homes, wearing masks is a must.
