46 XLRI Students Tested Positive For COVID-19

Jamshedpur 11th April 2021: After nearly eight months in East Singhbhum, 303 new patients were found in 24 hours on Saturday, while 4 were lost. 

A total of 3059 people were sampled. The infectives also include 46 students of XLRI. 

All have been quarantined under the supervision of a doctor on campus.

 For the first time in the state, such a large number of students have been found positive in an educational institution. 

At the same time, 486 micro containment zones have also been created in the city. 

According to the district administration, on Saturday, three patients in TMH and one patient in MGM were killed.

At the same time, a total of 22 dead bodies have been cremated under the Corona Protocol.

However, the responsibility of creating micro containment zones in urban areas has been entrusted to the civic body. 

“350 micro-containment zones have been created in the area till Saturday”, said JNAC city manager Ananya Raj.
