Jamshedpur Actor Adarsh Gaurav’s Film ‘The White Tiger’ Nominated For Oscar Award

Jamshedpur 17th Mar 2020: Adarsh ​​Gaurav, a Golmuri resident of Jamshedpur, has become the first actor in the state whose film ‘The White Tiger’ has been nominated for an Oscar Award after the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA). The film’s writer-director is Ramin Bahrani.


In the list released on Monday of the 93rd Academy Awards nomination, the film has been included in the Adapted Screenplay category.
To win an Oscar in this category, ‘The White Tiger’ will have to compete with the subsequent movie films ‘The Father’, ‘Nomadland’ and ‘One Night in Miami’.
Earlier, lead actor Adarsh ​​Gaurav of this film got a nomination in BAFTA’s Best Actor category.
The Oscar awards will be announced on 15th April 2021.
