Encroachment Removed In Parasudih Areas, Villagers Protest At Police Station

Jamshedpur 10th March 2020: The government land surrounding the Sadar Hospital in Khashmahal under Parasudih police station was removed on Tuesday after an order of influence was given to the encroachers.
The district administration reached the encroachment site with heavy force, and the announcements made on the microphone were directing encroachers to lift their encroachments.

CO Amit Srivastava, Jugasalai, Parasudih, Sundernagar, and OC of Barbera Police Station and QRT forces were present on the spot.
The administration faced protests from villagers on the site, but it did not prove to be a poser as encroachments continued to be removed.
Bulldozers were put into service to level the huts and other constructions erected by the encroachers.

After a while, the villagers held a meeting outside the police station premises. The ADM (L&O) and SDO also reached there after hearing this development.
Circle Officer Amit Srivastava said that the villagers were victims of rumors that the government had ordered free distribution of land, and hence they started encroaching government land, in the process demarcating the plots. The encroachment has been removed, but there will be no legal action.
