Electronic Biggies To Invest In Manufacturing Cluster In Adityapur

Jamshedpur 3rd Feb, 2021: Soon, huge firms dealing in electronic accessories will be setting up base at the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster, which has been built at the Adityapur Industrial Area.

The first such electronic manufacturing cluster of eastern India will commence to this area promoting as an electronic hub and units can be installed at prices fluctuating between Rs 15 per square feet and Rs 1.5 lakh per square feet.

This information was received by state industry secretary Puja Singhal while investigating the manufacturing cluster on Tuesday.

The Jharkhand government would soon have a strategy for establishing an anchor industry unit at the electronic manufacturing cluster and the cluster has all the advanced infrastructure needed for establishing an industrial area.

The industry secretary notified that there are a total of 51 plots at the cluster, which range between 1100 and 2000 square feet in area.

Whereas, a total of Rs 185 crore has been consumed in the construction of the cluster.

The region, which so far was recognized as an automobile hub, would be promoted as an electronic hub, and an invitation has been sent to multinational companies in the electronic division to set up a base at the cluster. 

An invitation will be sent to big companies like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.
