Pillion Riders Will Also Have To Wear Helmet From February

Jamshedpur 23rd Jan, 2021: On the instructions of District Transport Officer Dinesh Ranjan, ‘No Helmet – No Petrol’ awareness program was conducted at various petrol pumps of the city under the 32nd Road Safety Month.
The District Transport Officer said that from February 1, wearing helmets has been made mandatory for the pillion rider. Failure to follow this rule will attract a fine of Rs 500.
People should not drive without a driving license, registration, insurance and fitness certificate.
East Singhbhum will be the first district in the state where it will be strictly implemented.
Although the state already has this system, it is not implemented effectively.
