Jamshedpur 10th July, 2020: Peoples are now able to travel from one state to different state via train due to which COVID-19 cases are increasing in Jharkhand. Right now, most of the cases of COVID-19 are coming through passengers coming from Bihar.
It is observed that the number of COVID-19 cases in the state is enhanced just because of the trains running from Bihar to Jharkhand.
Seeing this, CM Hemant Soren took a decision that all the trains coming from Bihar to Jharkhand will be shut.
CM Hemant wrote petition to Union Railway Minister. In the plea letter he wrote “to reduce the COVID-19 spread, it is important to stop operating trains which are coming from Bihar to Jharkhand”.
The Ministry of Railways took cognizance and agreed in the favor of CM Hemant Soren.
From 13th July, the two trains running from Bihar to Jharkhand i.e., Danapur-Tata and Ranchi Janshatabdi express will be shut.
The Ministry of Railway has issued related orders to stop the trains. Now no trains will run from Bihar to Jharkhand till the forthcoming order.
Currently, Patna Janshatabdi express and Danapur-Tatanagar trains are running.
