Jamshedpur 13th Oct 2021: CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), Jamshedpur, has been implementing the CSIR Integrated Skills Initiative since 2017, intending to provide CSIR knowledgebase and basic skills to conduct training programs in various categories, including industrial, professional, and societal for contributing to national skill mission and also promote entrepreneurship through skilling and training.
A one-month training program, ‘Industrial Training for Diploma Students’, has been organized by CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, from 11th October to 12th November under the ‘CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative’ scheme of the Government of India.
This month-long training will be provided to Diploma students to improve their industry-oriented skills and employability.
The training is designed to enhance the general and professional skills of the participants and will also address data analysis.
The entire program has been divided into four modules that include in-plant training on Up-cycling of e-waste (Module-I), industrial training on mechanical engineering (Module – II), lectures on data analysis (Module – III), and soft skills and professional skills (Module – IV).
Yet, 100 students from Al-Kabir Polytechnic, Adityapur Polytechnic, Baharagora Polytechnic, and NSIT, Patna, are participating in the training program.
