Jamshedpur 17th Jan, 2021: Most of the private schools in the city have increased the fees. This time the fee has been raised from Rs 900 to Rs 2700.
There are three to four schools that have not given the fee information at the time of admission. This was revealed when some parents matched the fee structure of this time from last year.
Among minority schools, Loyola, Sacred Heart Convent, Carmel Junior College, St. Mary’s English High School Bishtupur have not given the fee information.
Most schools have posted notice of taking admission fees along with a list of three months’ tuition fees from April to June along with the admission charge.
While, the highest fee increase has been in the DBMS English School Kadama.
According to the information received from the committee, the schools have not taken permission related to the rise in fees.
Seeing a huge difference, a district-level fee assessment committee has been formed under the provisions of the Jharkhand Education Tribunal Act.
Although, the foremost purpose of the committee is to prevent violation of RTE rules.
