Banks To Remain Closed For 15 Days In April 2021

Jamshedpur 31st March 2021: As per the holiday calendar released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the private and public sector banks across the country will remain closed for 15 days in April 2021 on account of various festivals and rituals. 

Bank holidays in India may vary as per the specific state or region.

Even though the banks will remain closed these days, mobile and internet banking will remain functional as usual, and hence customers can make transactions through online modes.

02 April 2021– Good Friday

04 April 2021- Weekly off (Sunday)

05 April 2021- Babu Jagjivan Ram’s birthday

06 April 2021- Legislative Assembly Elections In Tamil Nadu

10 April 2021- Second Saturday

11 April 2021- Weekly off (Sunday)

13 April 2021- Gudhi Padwa/Telegu New Year’s Day/Ugadi Festival/Sajibu Nongmapanba/1st Navratra/Baisakhi

14 April 2021- Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti/Tamil New Year’s Day/Vishu/Biju Festival/Cheiraoba/Bohag Bihu

15 April 2021- Himachal Day/Bengali New Year’s Day/Bohag Bihu/Sarhul

16 April 2021- Bohag Bihu

18 April 2021- Weekly off (Sunday)

21 April 2021- Shree Ram Navmi (Chaite Dashain)/Garia Puja
