Jamshedpur 30th June,2020: Kolhan Tipper Hyva Association came out against the State Government’s directives on sand mining in the state. Tipper owners have parked more than 800 vehicles at Domuhani in Sonari and were disappointed with the resolution of the State Government.
“The government has said that only tractors should be used for sand transportation and no other big vehicles”.
The Tipper Association leaders have reported the case file to Jamshedpur S.P. Prasant Anand. Not only this, but the association also submitted their memorandum and met their demands in the name of chief minister on Monday.
Satveer Singh Sonu, chairman of the association said that the tractors cannot be used for efficient sand mining. He said more than 1200 Hyva owners, drivers, and laborers were sitting on a tent strike commotion in front of the police.
The owners said that the tractors cannot afford to load the sand. The capacity of tractors is less in comparison to tippers. The State Government must take immediate action in this regard.
