Jamshedpur, 24thOctober-2016 :

City-based several English private schools including ADLS Sunshine ( Sakchi), J H Tarapore ( Dhatkidih), Tarapore School ( Agrico), RVS Academy ( Mango ) and Little Hearts Bistupur have declared a holiday today in view of Jharkhand bandh. Various play schools in Bistupur, Sonari and other localities have also declared a holiday today. The Opposition has called  Jharkhand bandh in protest against recent firing incident at Barkagaon in which four youths were killed. The bandh,would impact railways, public transportation, educational institutions, shops and markets in steel city. The Opposition parties led by JVM-P held a press meet in Jamshedpur. Apart from JVM representatives of various other Opposition parties Congress, RJD, JDU and CPM were present. According to information, Long distance buses ( both private and government) for various destinations of Jharkhand including Ranchi and Deoghar would stay off the road. Moreover, city buses and auto-rickshaws won’t ply. According to Abhay Singh, central secretary of JVM, essential services like hospitals, ambulance, fire-brigade and milk vans would be kept outside the purview of bandh. Banks, insurance companies, post offices and other financial Organisations will also remain open. whatsapp-image-2016-09-21-at-11-19-53-am
