Hill Top School wins Drama event “Shakespeare Served Red”

Jamshedpur 20, August-2016.  On 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare, popularly known as the Bard of Avon was remembered by over 200 faculty and students through the Inter School Drama event “Shakespeare Served Red”. Students from 16 schools presented plays on Shakespeare dramas. This Inter School competition was organised by the Association of British Scholars (Jamshedpur Chapter). The judges for the event were Sudeep Banerjee (Theatre artist and Rotarian), Lalita Sareen (Director , Mount Litera Zee School) and Govind Sharan (Head, Special Projects, CSR, Tata Steel). Different performances on Shakespeare added a unique flavour to the programme and took the audiences to the world of Shakespeare. Hill Top School was declared the winner while Little Flower School and Kerala Samajan Model School were adjudged the first and second runners up respectively. earlier, Dr. Anita Gupta, President of Association of British Scholars (Jamshedpur Chapter), delivered the welcome address while Ashu Tiwary, executive committee member proposed the Vote of Thanks. The program was largely attended by school principals, members from the corporate houses and Association of British Scholar members.
