Jamshedpur: 20th September-2016 : A team from anti-corruption bureau (ACB) nabbed a clerk in the office of sub-registry of Dhalbhum sub-divisional office in Bistupur on Monday for accepting bribe. The clerk identified as Raj Kumar Ram was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 5,000 as bribe from a man, Utpal Dutt who wanted to get his residential flat registered. Later the ACB team headed by deputy superintendent of police, ACB, Amar Pandey raided clerk’s house at Bhuiyandih in Sitaramdera, from where they recovered Rs 1.16 lakh in cash. According to sources, Raj Kumar (45) was known for demanding bribe from the people who wanted to get their landed property registered with the sub-registry office.
