Jamshedpur 8 March 2018: Jamshedpur became joyful and excited when tickets for Jamshedpur – Kolkata flights were made available on Air Deccan official website on 16th February 2018.
The tickets were available for flights from 28th February 2018 and within few hours the tickets for the first day flights were sold off and seats for the next ten days were also fast filling from the very first day.
The ticket for Jamshedpur – Kolkata, and Kolkata – Jamshedpur flights were available at Rs 1049/-
But, Sadly the flight service was postponed to 4th march from 28th February and was supposed to be inaugurated by chief minister Raghubar Das and aviation minister Jayant Sinha.
And unfortunately, it did not even happen on 4th February 2018, and all the bookings were automatically canceled.
Air Deccan informed the passengers about the cancellation of the flights via an e-mail.
As Per Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar, The flight services were canceled because of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation had not yet issued No Objection Letter to these flight.
